FRANKE BEARINGS AT MOTEK 2019

Franke Bearings are thrilled to be exhibiting at the MOTEK fair in Stuttgart this week. This years highlight at the booth is the E-bike prototype “Cyclopic” with integrated Franke Wire Race Bearings.

Featuring a large front and smaller rear wheel without spokes, the ‘cyclopic’ design allows the wheels to snap inside one another in five seconds and weighing approx 15kg. Working with ‘Cyclopic’ for over 12-months, Franke have helped to develop a solution tailored precisely to support the six-speed bike which is powered by an electric drive system.

The international trade fair Motek, which takes place in Stuttgart from 07.10.2019 – 10.10.2019, is the world’s leading event in the fields of production and assembly automation, feed technology and material flow, streamlining through handling technology, and industrial handling.
